Manages the family business. Born in the hills of Chianti Classico. After studying Viticulture and Oenology, he became more and more passionate about wine, thus deciding to take over the ancient family business.
He brings great innovations, first to the vineyards and olive groves, with efficient replants and the most technological and modern equipment, and then, in the creation of the new cellar in Volpaia, in an ancient building surrounded by history, while maintaining the roots of tradition, enhancing its territory to the fullest.
In the most central building of Volpaia’s Castel, where the Ospitaletto dei Cavalieri di Malta was located in the 1400s, today our cellar and direct sales take place.
In this historical atmosphere we work our grapes, combining tradition with innovation producing only high quality wines.
Today the company owns about 10 hectares of vineyards, 4 hectares of olive groves and numerous hectares of woodland, with an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level.
In the company, the predominant vine, and also the most suitable in the area, is Sangiovese, followed by Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Trebbiano, Malvasia. The oldest vineyards date back to almost 50 years ago.
